4 Marysville businesses suffer damage

August 16, 2010

Several businesses along Highway 36 suffered damage overnight Tuesday.  According to police sources Hardees was broken into.  According to Todd Ackerman, Marysville Police Chief, money and other items were taken from the restaurant.  A drive by the building revealed the side door to the drive through was covered with board.  Signs were on the doors and drive thru menu board saying they were closed due to a break in.  Pony Express auto reported a window had been broken, but had not found anything to be missing as of noon Wednesday.  Orshelin management informed KNDY that their front doors had glass broken and the alarm had gone off.  They did not believe anyone entered the store.  Valley Vet reported the alarm at the former Walmart building had been set off but no one was found when management and police arrived.  No damage or theft was reported.  Marysville Police are investigating the incidents.  Anyone with information is asked to call the Marysville Police Department at 562-2343.
