Washington County Sheriff’s Report

On August 12th on Hanover Street just south of Washington Street in Hanover, Andrew Jablonski, Lincoln Nebraska driving a 2003 Acura, was backing and struck a 2003 Pontiac owned by Cassie Scheetz, Marysville. Jablonski was issued a citation for Improper Backing. Damage was estimated at under $1,000.00, no injuries were reported.

On August 25th on US 36 at Yukon Boulevard Samantha Kramer, Washington driving a 2000 Dodge was traveling eastbound, slowed to make a left turn when a 1999 Buick driven by Irene Stamm, Washington started to pass and then noticed Kramer’s turn signal. The two vehicles collided. Damage estimated at more than $1,000.00, no injuries were reported.

On August 26th in the 300 block of 1st Street in Washington, Misty Wiggers, Washington driving a 2000 Mercury was backing from driveway and struck a 2004 Dodge truck owned by Kevin Keller, Washington. Damage estimated at under $1,000.00, no injuries were reported. As a result of this accident Wiggers was arrested on pending charges of DUI, 2nd offense, Driving while license Revoked, 4th offense, Leaving the scene of an accident, failure to report an accident and Refusal to submit PBT. Wiggers was held at the Washington County Jail until bond could be set by the judge. A report will be forwarded to the county attorney.

On August 27th Daniel Woolsey, Washington was arrested on a Washington County Warrant for Failure to Appear. Woolsey was held at the Washington County Jail until his release on bond.

On August 27th Cody Stambaugh, Linn was arrested on a Washington County Warrant for Probation Violation. Stambaugh was held at the Washington County Jail for a total of 96 hours.

On August 29th at 709 South Hollenberg Avenue, Hanover Brandon Kruse, Hanover reported that unknown person (s) broke window out of his truck. A property damage report was taken and investigation is pending.

On August 29th the Linn Fire Department was dispatched to 19 North Elm Street in Linn for a grass fire.

On August 29th officers were dispatched to 212 South Railroad, Hanover for the report of harassment. No arrests were made.
