Invitation to Join Advisory Council

North Central Kansas Workforce Solutions was a guest at yesterday’s Solomon Valley Economic Development meeting in Beloit.

The organization, which is the parent organization of OCCK in Beloit, is looking for local business owners who can sit on advisory councils in their 9-county service area.

NCK Workforce Solutions Employment Consultant Patsy Stockhan says her organization is looking for people who can help make a difference for disabled Americans.

North Central Kansas Workforce Solutions has sheltered workshops in Beloit, Concordia and Salina. They serve Jewell, Republic, Mitchell, Cloud, Lincoln, Ottawa, Ellsworth, Saline and Dickinson Counties.

About Mike Schrant

Mike is one of those guys who has spent nearly a lifetime trying to figure out what he wants to do when he grows up. He has split time as a broadcaster and educator having first worked in radio in the early 1970’s while attending junior college. The two careers are directly connected because many of the 25 years as an educator were spent teaching broadcast journalism at the high school and college levels.
