Marshall County approved for federal aid

The Federal Emergency Management Agency has announced that federal aid has been made available for Kansas to supplement state and local recovery efforts in the area struck by severe storms, flooding and tornadoes June 7th to July 21st.  The President’s actions make federal funding available to state and eligible local governments and certain private nonprofit organizations on a cost-sharing basis.  Funding is for emergency work and the repair or replacement of facilities damaged in 34 counties-including Marshall and Pottawatomie.
