Gun shots in Wymore led to the arrest of A Wymore man was late Wednesday night. According to the Wymore Police Department Sidney R. Williams, 50, of Wymore was arrested on suspicion of terroristic threats, domestic assault in the third degree and possession of less than one ounce of marijuana. Police were dispatched to 208 N. Sixth St. in Wymore at about 11:50 p.m. Wednesday night after an incident involving a firearm was reported. Upon arrival, a female told police that her boyfriend was inside and intoxicated. She said she had an altercation with Williams and he allegedly shot a large caliber pistol at the stereo in the living room. She said that Williams grabbed her, pointed the gun at her and threatened to shoot her if she didn’t. A perimeter was formed around the house with help from the Gage County Sheriff’s Office. Police made contact with Williams using cell phones and were able to talk him to the front door where he was arrested and taken into custody without incident. A search of the residence revealed two handguns, two homemade smoking devices and a substance believed to be marijuana.
