KSHSAA Announces 2011 State Wrestling Hosts

The Kansas State High School Activities Association is announcing the following sites for the 2010-11 KSHSAA State Wrestling Championship Tournaments scheduled for February 25th & 26th, 2011:

Classes 6A & 5A – Hartman Arena, Wichita

Class 4A – Bicentennial Center, Salina

Class 3-2-1A – Gross Memorial Coliseum, Hays

“Hosting state wrestling tournaments is truly a joint effort on the part of the KSHSAA, the host facility and the volunteers from participating schools in the surrounding areas. Without the assistance of dedicated school volunteers, our tournaments would not be successful,” said KSHSAA Executive Director, Gary Musselman. “We are pleased to reach an agreement with Hartman Arena to allow our Class 6A & 5A tournament to remain in the Wichita area in 2011.” Hartman Arena owner Wink Hartman said, “We are pleased to host in 2011 and look forward to the possibility of building a successful relationship with the KSHSAA in the future.”
