Unl Hosting Family Business Conference in Beatrice

University of Nebraska Extension is hosting a Family Business Conference on Thursday, July 29 from 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm at the Extension Office Meeting Room on the fairgrounds in Beatrice.  Dave Specht, University of Nebraska – Lincoln College of Business Administration Lecturer will be the featured presenter.  Topics covered will be “Seven Themes Families Must Master for Generational Succession” and Succession Planning Super Heros”.  The program is designed for family businesses including commercial businesses, agriculture, or retail.  If you have interest in family or junior partners (almost like family) continuing a business this will help you get started on the needed planning.

The program will also have contributions from Extension Educator, Paul C Hay, and Beatrice Attorney Duane Smith.  The program is free of charge.   The program is sponsored by University of Nebraska Extension and Wagonhammer Ranch of Albion who feel that Nebraska families need family business planning.
