Everyone is invited to spend the day in Marysville on Saturday, July 24th for Marysville’s Summer Extravaganza, sponsored by the Marysville Chamber of Commerce and Marysville Main Street.
Start the day off with the annual Sidewalk Sale in historic downtown Marysville. Stores will have their merchandise on the sidewalk from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Shop early for great bargains! The Sidewalk Sale is sponsored by the Marysville Chamber of Commerce Retail Committee.
Need fresh produce or baked goods? The Farmers Market will be open for business from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
From 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. the Marysville Main Street will sponsor the “Antique Appraisal Affaire” at the Lee Dam Center for Fine Art. $10.00 admission includes drinks, hors d’oeuvres and 2 items appraised. Tom Bassett, Certified Antique Appraiser, and Norman Nork, Jewelry Appraiser, will be present.
Want to relax, cool off and grab a snack? Head to the newly renovated Astro 3 Theatre for a 3:00 p.m. matinee. Although not fully renovated, the theatre is looking fantastic.
Enjoy live theatre? Then head to the MHS Auditorium at 7:30 p.m. for M-Act’s production of “Bye Bye Birdie” – a wonderful musical to relax and enjoy at the end of the day.
If that’s not enough for you, the antique stores and local museums will be open – and don’t forget the local restaurants!!
