Motorcycle hit by vehicle

A Beatrice man Anthony Brollini, age 24 was lifeflighted to BryanLGH West Tuesday afternoon after a car hit his motorcycle at Ninth and Court streets in Beatrice. Tuesday shortly after 4 p.m. Brollini, riding a motorcycle, was eastbound on Court Street. Barbara Schwisow, of Tobias, was northbound on Ninth Street and entered the intersection; apparently she didn’t see Brollini approaching from the west. Schwisow’s car hit Brollini’s motorcycle throwing him approximately 60 feet from the motorcycle. Brollini was wearing a helmet, which had scrapes and damages to the front left portion. Bystanders assisted Brollini’s until Beatrice Fire and Rescue arrived. Brollini was transported to Beatrice Municipal Airport and lifeflighted to BryanLGH West.  Brollini was listed in fair condition Thursday.
