Man dies at Country Stampede

A 20-year-old man who was attending the 15th annual Country Stampede music festival near Manhattan died early Thursday morning, authorities said.  Law enforcement officials were investigating circumstances surrounding the death on Thursday morning, but foul play is not suspected.  According to Sheriff Riat the man sought out security and Pottawatomie County sheriff’s officers around 3 a.m. Thursday at the Stampede campground.  The man was placed in an ambulance and died while en route to a Manhattan hospital.  The man’s name and details surrounding the death were not available as of Thursday morning.  The Country Stampede which started Thursday is annual event at Tuttle Creek State Park north of Manhattan.  The event attracts thousands of spectators, many of whom stay at the park during the four-day event,
