223 Barnes, Hanover and Linn School Board met on Monday. The purpose of the meeting was to address budget concerns and make decisions concerning the 2010-2011 School Budget. Rick Simoncic, District Superintendent reported that no teaching staff cuts were made. There was a reduction in hours for some of the classified staff. The Board did approve instituting a “Pay to Play” requirement for Junior and Senior High Cheerleading. Summer school will be cut from two weeks to one week and there will be no transportation offered for summer school.
