Marysville City Council Notes

Marysville City Council met on Monday.  The council discussed the airport runway project and approved a bid from ME Collins for 1 million three hundred twenty-three thousand dollars for the addition of a taxiway.  The approval is subject to the FFA approval and funds becoming available.  The council also discussed the addition of a sidewalk on South 11 road to connect the new housing development to highway 36.  The council approved a five feet wide sidewalk from the housing access point to the south end of the CJ express parking area.  Habitat for Humanity informed the council that they were proceeding with a house project at 810 North 3^rd.  Habitat for Humanity requested the city waive related fees, the council approved the waiver.
