A Beatrice woman has been arrested for the distribution of a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school.
Jessica Rogge, 1103 Meriweather St., was arrested after police executed a search warrant on March 25. Rogge’s roommate, Kristina Meyn, was also arrested.
Police found marijuana, $35 cash and cell phones used for the selling of marijuana and other drug related items during the search.
Rogge admitted to police the $35 was from selling marijuana to Jonny Cummings of Marysville, KS on March 24
Rogge told police that she picked up marijuana from a dealer for $135. Police seized a Blackberry phone which Rogge admitted was hers, and it had messages regarding the sale of maijuana. Rogge stated that she and Meyn profit about $50 a week from the sale of marijuana.
An arrest warrant was issued for Rogge and she arrested on April 5. Her bond is $10,000. She is charged with distribution of a controlled substance in a school zone.
