Extension Agent and Professional Gardner offers class on gardening

HOW DOES YOUR GARDEN GROW?

The interest in growing vegetable and fruit gardens is growing across the country.  Would you like more success in your efforts to grow vegetables and fruits?  Beginning and experienced growers will benefit from the program “How Does Your Garden Grow?”  David Coltrain, River Valley Extension Agent will present this program at the following locations.  All of the meetings start at 7:00 p.m.
· Concordia: Wednesday, March 24, Nazareth Motherhouse Auditorium
· Clifton: Thursday, March 25, Grade School Cafeteria,
· Clay Center: Monday, March 29, Extension Meeting Room, 322 Grant Avenue
· Belleville: Thursday, April 1, Belleville Library
· Washington: Tuesday, April 6, First National Bank Basement
David grew vegetables for over 20 years on a 50 plus acre commercial operation.  “Both experience and expertise with guidelines for more successful gardening will be offered at this meeting,” said Coltrain.
There is no cost to the program, but please pre-register the day before each scheduled meeting by calling 785-325-2121.  A minimum of 10 pre-registrations is required for each meeting to be held.
