A jury trial for charges of aggravated battery and aggravated assault with a weapon against Nathan Stohs began on Wednesday. Officer Larry Wetzel testified that he had responded to a call on May 25th concerning fighting in the area of 7th Street and North Street. In the course of the investigation it was found that a pickup driven by Tim Bush had been hit repeatedly by a pickup driven by Nathan Stohs. According to Wetzel the Bush and a passenger were in the pickup when it was hit. The state, represented by County Attorney Brian Carroll: alleges that Stohs knowingly rammed the pickup driven by Bush repeatedly resulting in the charges. The trial is expected to be completed on Thursday.
