Southeast Community College’s Entrepreneurship Center has several activities, all free and open to the public, scheduled in celebration of National Entrepreneurship Week.
The weeklong celebration takes place Feb. 21-27.
Tim Mittan, director of SCC’s Center, said all of this year’s events are free to the public.
“It’s important to provide services during this week that people could use without having to pay for them,” Mittan said. “The events we have scheduled should benefit those who attend and/or participate.”
Nationally, the Consortium for Entrepreneurship Education is sponsoring the fourth annual National Entrepreneurship Week, a celebration of the heritage of entrepreneurship in America and new opportunities for a new generation. In 2006, Congress established the need to celebrate National Entrepreneurship Week as a celebration of American entrepreneurs and the lifelong educational opportunities that prepare new business leaders for the future.
