The US Census Bureau is in the process of hiring nearly 4,000 temporary workers in Kansas from now until July.
Dennis Johnson, the Regional Director of the US Census Bureau, says the bureau is in a very active mode of both recruiting and hiring.
Interested applicants must be U.S. citizens, 18 years old or older, have a valid social security number, and be available to work 20 to 40 hours per week.
Applicants must also take a general competency test and undergo a background check.
Interested persons should call 1-866-861-2010 to find out how and where to apply for a job with the 2010 census.
