Injury accident in Gage County sends 3 to the hospital

On February 5th, 2010 at approximately 2100 hours, the Gage County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the intersection of Highway 77 and 41 to a single vehicle rollover accident.  Upon arrival, deputies located 38 year old Sandra Price of Beatrice along with two minor children in the vehicle.  Investigation revealed that Price was traveling southbound on Highway 77 when she lost control of her vehicle due to icy road conditions.  The 2000 Plymouth minivan traveled into the northwest ditch which caused it to roll one time where it arrived at final rest on its wheels.  All persons were transported from the scene to Bryan LGH West where they were treated for their injuries and released.

Alcohol was not a factor and seatbelts were in use.

Responding agencies to the accident were Cortland Fire and QRTs, Clatonia Fire and Rescue, and the Gage County Sheriff’s Office.

The Gage County Sheriff’s Office would like to remind citizens to use caution in traveling during inclement weather conditions and allow for extra time while traveling.
