Community Medical Equipment Honored by Kansas Department of Commerce

Marysville, KS – Community Medical Equipment, part of Community Memorial Healthcare (CMH), was awarded a 2009 Business Appreciation Award of Merit by the Kansas Department of Commerce. Community Medical Equipment was recognized for its contributions to economic development, community service and leadership in Kansas in the hospital/nonprofit division.

The Kansas Department of Commerce honors businesses each year as part of Business Appreciation Month, established to recognize business leaders and entrepreneurs for keeping the state’s economy strong and vibrant.

“Kansas businesses are the backbone of our economy and our quality of life,” said Kansas Department of Commerce Secretary David D. Kerr. “Business Appreciation Month is our way of thanking these great Kansas businesses for all they do to keep our state strong.”

Community Medical Equipment was honored at the Marysville Chamber of Commerce annual meeting on January 9, 2010. Jerry Coleman, Director of Community Medical Equipment, accepted the award.

Community Medical Equipment is an approved Medicare provider and conveniently located in downtown Marysville at 805 Broadway Street.
