Creighton University Economist Ernie Goss is predicting Kansas will be one of nine Midwest and Plains States to see its economic recovery in 2010 go slowly.
In a report released today, Goss says the slow recovery throughout the region is tied to the continuing loss of jobs in the manufacturing sector despite a stabilization of the overall job market.
The Mid-America survey covers Arkansas, Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota and Kansas.
