Weather permitting, on Thursday/Saturday, September 17-19, K-9 will be closed on the west edge of the city of Frankfort in Marshall County for a railroad crossing replacement project. K-9 will close to all traffic beginning at 6:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 17 and will reopen to all traffic at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 19. (This was originally scheduled for Wednesday/Friday, September 16-18.)
Marked detours will be provided. Eastbound K-9 traffic will detour north on US-77 to US-36, then east on US-36, and then south on K-99 back to K-9. Westbound K-9 traffic will detour north on K-99, then west on US-36, and then south on US-77 to K-9.
