Highway K-99 to close for rail crossing work

Weather permitting, on Friday/Saturday, September 25-26, K-99 will be closed in two different locations in Marshall County for Union Pacific railroad crossing repair projects. Marked detours will be provided for both closures.

K-99 will first close to all traffic at the crossing located northwest of the City of Axtell between Granite Road and Harvest Road beginning at 8:00 a.m. on Friday, September 25 and will reopen to all traffic at 6:00 p.m. the same day.

Then, K-99 will close to all traffic at the crossing located approximately .75-miles east of the City of Beattie beginning at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 26 and will reopen to all traffic at 6:00 p.m. the same day.
