First District Kansas Congressman Jerry Moran says his mission is to stop taxpayer dollars from being given to a group called the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now or better known as ACORN.
Congressman Moran has requested President Obama cut funding to ACORN, urged the Chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee to investigate ACORN activities and has sponsored legislation to prohibit government funding.
Moran says he refuses to let taxpayers’ dollars fund an ethically problematic organization whose activities are compromised.
